The Fighting Temeraire

Which boat is leading the way?12:04

Re:ArtWhich boat is leading the way?
The small one. It looks like it’s pulling the big ship.12:05
The small one is a steam tug. It’s towing the old warship Temeraire away to be broken up. Turner painted its last journey in 1839.12:05
The Bedroom by Vincent van Gogh

What colour are the walls?12:04

Re:ArtWhat colour are the walls?
Blue, I think. A bit grey.12:05
Van Gogh wrote to his brother that the walls were pale violet. The colour has faded to blue since. He painted this room in 1888 and repeated it twice more.12:05
The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai

Hokusai made this print around 1831. Mount Fuji is the small peak under the arch of the wave. The boats below carry fish to market.12:05

From the maker
